Methods to charge users for utilizing Keymate features in your product
There are 2 ways to charge users for utilizing Keymate features. Each of them have their pros and cons. Choose the method that suits you.
Method 1: Charging Users Directly
In this method, you charge your users directly yourself.
This method is Web App, Desktop App, Apple App store, Google Play Store friendly.
If you prefer this way, you need to implement Personal Knowledge Base features yourself in your product.
There are two ways to implement this method:
A) Prepaid Package
You can buy a high quota package from us and let your users utilize Keymate.AI features via this package.
We strongly advise you to monitor your quota usage to keep your app working, and upgrade your request limit from us if necessary.
B) Charging Monthly
We can charge your company for your users' Keymate.AI API usage monthly.
For this method, your product needs to be Keymate approved.
Method 2: Redirecting Users to Keymate.AI Sign Up
Your product can direct users to sign up with Keymate.AI and they can then share their Keymate API key with you to use with your product. In this method, you have two options to charge them:
You can still charge users directly (See Method 1)
You can redirect them to buy Keymate plans (Web app and Desktop app friendly)*
Personal Knowledge Base features are available with this method if you send their API key via apikeyuser field. This means you can utilize user's Keymate knowledge base records to build apps and websites.
