Why does my request fail? What should I do?

Why does my request fail?

The reasons for a failed request are often related to the links that Keymate is trying to search and browse. The time window for pulling information might be lapsing before Keymate can find suitable content to serve in response to your prompt.

When Keymate is used, it has ~45 seconds to provide an answer to the backend before it times out and fails. Sometimes, depending on the search prompt, Keymate will be called multiple times trying to find suitable information. The availability of the links it pulls is determined by the accessibility of the website and other external factors.

Don't worry, whenever your prompt fails, Keymate will not consume your requests.

What should I do?

If your request fails:

  • Try changing the form of your prompt

  • Try changing the parameters (click here for details)
