How long does Keymate.AI store my data? What is the process for deletion?

Data retention is dependent on the type of data.

Knowledge Base Data

Data on your Personal Knowledge Base (PKB) is deleted under two conditions:

  • When you delete your data manually.

  • When your account expires, and there is no activity. In this case, they are deleted by default within 30 days.

Service-Related Data

Service-related data, such as logs useful for diagnosis or forensic investigation, may be kept for up to 12 months. These logs do not entail privacy-bound customer data. They include:

  • access logs,

  • relevant status and error messages,

  • and service telemetry.

Backups

Backups are automated as part of the service provided within AWS. They are constantly cycled and the default retention period is 7 days. If you removed your Knowledge Base, any previous backups will be deleted after 7 days.
